Come show your support for our refugee community by joining us at Pilllar Forum Cafe in Minneapolis for a World Refugee Day Concert. Performers range from Venezuelan dance groups to musicians who lost their limbs in conflict zones and everything in between.

It is so easy to feel powerless in today’s world, but this is one way that a small amount of money and support can make a real, material impact on people’s lives. Tickets can be found here.

Songs for a New Home is a coalition of musicians from around the world that want to help fund refugee support organizations..  100% of all funds raised go to projects that help refugee families settle into their new homes.

We work with small, reputable local organizations with good track records rather than large international ones.  Our current beneficiary is the Karen Organization of Minnesota (KOM), which is a refugee support organization founded by Karen refugees.  The Karen People are an ethnic group from southeast Asia, many of whom fled Burma due to persecution by the government.  KOM currently serves refugees from all around the world, including Afghanistan, Ukraine, Southeast Asia, East Africa, Latin America, and more.
